Visit the 1st community in Montana! See where Montana Began! St. Mary’s Chapel, Fr. Ravalli’s Ride-up Pharmacy, Chief Victor’s Cabin, Salish Encampment. All restored to 1880’s. Guided Tours 4/15–10/15, Tuesday–Saturday.
On September 24, 2016 at 10 a.m,. St. Mary’s Mission will celebrate the 175th anniversary of the first pioneer settlement in Montana. All are invited to see the reenactment of the Salish Indians welcoming the Blackrobe Missionaries. Learn more about the settlers who helped shape the early beginnings of Montana before statehood.
