1884 Mansion Built by William Andrews Clark • Tours Daily May to September, at 10am, noon, 2pm or 3:30 pm Book a tour online
The mansion is a 32-room Victorian mansion built in 1884 by William Andrews Clark, one of Montana’s territorial pioneers. We are located one block west of the Butte Silver Bow County Courthouse. The Copper King Mansion is one of Butte’s most elegant Victorian period architectural achievements. The moment you enter the building you are overwhelmed by the elegance of craftsmanship; the stained glass windows, hand painted ceilings, and hand carved woodwork are just the beginning. We boast 4 Bed and Breakfast rooms for rent, either individually or together. We also give tours of the house during the summer months between May 1st and Sept. 30th, at 10am, noon, 2pm or 330pm. You don’t need a reservation for the tours during the summer just arrive 5-10 minutes before the above time.
We are also a B & B and we offer a complimentary tour of the Copper King Mansion to every Bed and Breakfast guest. Book rooms Online
