Summer is peak delivery season for the Flathead, Glacier & Kootenai Edition of The Attraction Menu. This is our trip from Polson to Polebridge. We saw (but didn’t photograph) several deer, squirrels, hawks, and 2 prospective fisher folk gazing at the North Fork.
At the Polebridge Mercantile we gazed at the enormous, world-famous huckleberry bear claws. But we settled for a much smaller cookie and a tasty Jalapeño and cheese scone.
From Polebridge we scooted across the Camas Road to Apgar, and then back down through West Glacier and through the canyon back out to Columbia Falls.
A very big circle!
In Apgar a young deer was meandering around near Eddy’s Camp Store, enjoying the relative quiet before Glacier National Park opens for the season. We wish we would have taken a picture of her, but it was more fun to just watch her and chat a minute with an old friend who was out for a ride on his motorcycle.
After a full day of delivery we were rewarded with a beautiful sunset as we drove back down the lake toward Polson. One of the perks of delivering The Attraction Menu is seeing all the beautiful scenery, and talking to the nice people who work in the places we deliver.
Don’t forget the Attraction Menu when you are planning your next Montana Adventure!
